San Antonio Waterfalls - Eco Paradise — Local services in Parrita

The best day we've had in Costa Rica was the day we hiked Joy de Damas with Harley and Leiner. The tour itself is amazing with it's breathtaking views and beautiful waterfalls in which, you can swim. The cool water in the waterfalls and creeks are a refreshing reward for the hike itself. We had delicious, fresh fruit, cut and served to us just when we needed a boost for the rest of this adventure. In the more precarious parts of the hike, we were offered the reassuring help in the hand of Leiner, guiding us across a slippery waterfall. I felt completely safe knowing that he knew this area better than anybody, having grown up here and his ancestors practically started this town and built it from nothing. I can go on and on about the beauty of the hike but I must say, Harley and Leiner truly love the land and want to share it with people who feel the same. They fully appreciate the beauty and not only want others to take in this lush, scenic wonder but immerse themselves in it. We came away from this hike feeling like we made friends. Take a special trip to Quepos & add this adventure to your "must do" list. Harley & Leiner are excellent guides and they are a great example of Pura Vida! This tour is on private land and both guides are going to ensure you have the most relaxing & rejuvenating experience. The hiking is minimal & I would describe it as easy to moderate. During the hike we stopped for a snack of THE BEST pineapple! Be sure to bring or wear water shoes (bonus if you can also hike in them) your swimsuit, water bottle & phone/camera.
