We are a family of 5 (3 boys, 13/12/7 yo). We went on the rafting trip in july 2024. The office of Green Rivers was a bit difficult to find, but the host was very welcoming. We went with another family. It took about 30 minuters by minivan to get to the starting point. The safety measures were thoroughly explained and trained. There were 2 rafting guides, 1 chauffeur and 1 safety kayak/photographer with us. Just befor starring the tour,we had a topical downpour, which made the rafting experience a bit easier (higher water level). We were especially worried if out 7 yo was capabele enough. It went fine! He was't scared at all. Halfway through, we had the opportunity to eat fresh fruit and the kids could go 'cliff' jumping. Our guides were very knowledgable and friendly. Our communication was in English and went smooth. At the end of the tour it took us about 10 minutes by minivan to get back to the office of Green Rivers. We had supplementary use of towels. Photographs made during the tour could be purchased for 30 US dollars and were sent digitally by we transfer. Our eldest forgot his baseball cap and the guys from green Rivers delivered it to our hotel later that night. Overall it was a great experience which we...

Kevin was an amazing guide for our natural history/safari river float. Everything was easy. We just showed up at their office, loaded into the van and let Kevin take it from there. He has an incredible knowledge of the area and wildlife. We saw monkeys, sloths, roosted bats, caiman, toucans, kingfishers, macaws, parrots, and many other types of birds. Kevin knew them all on site and seemed to know exactly where to look to find them for us. It is clear that Kevin loves what he does and it shows. He was every bit as excited to locate and find these animals as we were to see them. This was a mellow river float. No rapids, which was what we were looking for. They do offer those type of trips however. The cost was lower than the other companies we looked into and we felt like we got more than our...

We did a 8 am floating tour and probably due to low season it was just my boyfriend and me. The tour was fantastic! We saw everything that you could hope for and the guide Kevin had a lot of knowledge about the animals and the surrounding nature. We were able to spot a lot of different birds including two types of kingfisher and a sunbittern, which opened his wings for us. We were also lucky to see two otters, one of them following us along for a while. It was so beautiful and calming to take the tour and we also took a small break eating fruits and cookies. 100% worth it and Kevin was one of the best guides...

We had a great morning doing the Safari Float with these guys. It was so relaxing to be gently paddling down the river spotting wildlife after so many days of full-on travelling. Our guide was really lovely and spotted lots of animals for us including a caiman, large iguana, sloth plus loads of birds eg. herons, kingfishers… We took the 6am trip as there is more chance of seeing wildlife at that hour. The float is down a tributary of the Sarapiqui River which is really scenic and goes past the La Selva Biological Reserve.

I chose Green Rivers to celebrate in a funny way on my birthday and they did not disappoint at all!! The pick up was smooth, Reyder was our guide and Captain for the white water Rafting class 2-3 and Gerard was the safety Kayak in front. They have both been super kind and professional, they explained all the safety measures well and made sure we had a great deal of fun during the experience. We saw monkeys and also stopped halfway to eat some fruit and jump in the water. Highly recommended!
