Isla Caballo, es una hermosa isla en el Golfo de Nicoya a unos 30 minutos del puerto de Puntarenas. Habitada parcialmente cuenta con más de 500 personas divididas en varios pequeños caseríos Las comunidades pesqueras no cuentan con servicios básicos y acarrean su agua y reciben Abasto de agua potable por medio de gobierno.
