Serendipity Adventures made our trip to Costa Rica very memorable! From the private transfers to the excursion, very thing was on time and each employee was proud of their Country and offered a lot of educational information. Each guide/transfer wanted us to have the best time and wanted to help provide that for us. Special shout out to Mariano who took us on the Volcano hike and drove us to the hot springs. Very knowledgeable and fun guy! He made sure we had a great time! Another shout out to our guide at Callidryas for our sloth tour, Mercedes! You are amazing! Thanks for taking the time to find lots of sloths and birds and provide us with a wealth of information! Don Juan Tours, your employees are topnotch! We loved the coffee, chocolate and night tour! We did a Turtle Nesting Tour with Natives Way, Christian was a great guide to capture the experience! Thank you to Alex for providing the transportation from LaFortuna to Tamarindo. 3 hours was short when you felt like to were driving with family! Thanks for all the knowledge about your Country! We stayed in 3 separate hotels, Lomas Del Volcan, Ficus hotel and The Coast Beachfront - Each deserves 5 stars! Dalgien at The Coast Beachfront was our favourite! My partner and I visited Costa Rica for the first time in mid July. In my early research, I found Serendipity Adventures on the internet and was contacted by Holden Ketchum. Holden listened carefully to the type of adventures we wanted to have. We corresponded for a week or so, making adjustments to the places we wanted to visit, the activities we wished to enjoy...and my budget restraints. We've just returned after the most magical journey of our lifetime. The pics below cannot express how beautiful this country is with its people's outstanding regard for nature and the environment. Thank you to our wonderful guides, Andreas, Juan, Mariano, Alex and especially Wilman, who texted us throughout our 11 days journey just to check in and give us driving directions if needed. Our budget was approx.$300 each per day. The 4x4 that Serendipity rented for us, the three very different places we stayed for 3-4 days each, ranging from a small hacienda on a coffee plantation to a stunning hotel on the Pacific coast overlooking the ocean, could not have been better. I cannot recommend Serendipity Adventures too highly. From Holden's thoughtful and personal planning of the whole trip to the support and care throughout, from the whole office administration, to our guides and most of all, to Costa Rica. Our family recently returned from an unforgettable adventure in Monteverde and Manuel Antonio, all thanks to the incredible team at Serendipity Adventures. Our multigenerational group had a range of different interests and abilities, and Helen and the team were exceptional in helping us find a mix of activities that made our trip to Costa Rica a seamless, stress-free and personalized experience.

Our principal guide for the week, Tito, was wonderful and patient, with an encyclopedic knowledge and a genuine passion for showcasing the culture and natural beauty of the country.
