Veliki Budikovac — Local services in Grad Vis

I will never ever visit this place again.

When you arrive at this nice lagoon on a tiny island of Budihovac, you are greeted with a big pile of junk on the beach - old car batteries, old fridges and similar stuff. The restaurant itself looks very basic, but ok, it's something you'd expect. But everything else: service is almost non-existent, in a couple of hours they came maybe one time to ask if we needed anything - they were mostly busy dining by the table next to ours. We all ordered lobster, expensive food I must admit. It was ok, not at all spectacular. Wine was below average and six of us had only one and a half bottle, with sparkling water and 2-3 local brandies.

And the bill... we had two Russians with us, and they said that for this price they could have had a nice dinner in one of the fanciest restaurants in Moscow. It was outrageous and totally unexpected for us - and we expected to pay some more because of our choice of food and the "exclusivity" of the place. In the end, when we left (we did not protest or anything, just paid the bill and went) no one even greeted us, said thank you or even noticed us.

So, if you don't like being robbed, do not ever try to...

We reserved for 9 people, they forgot about us, put us at a 8 people table. We ordered 5 fish menus and one meet menu, they brought about 1kg of fish mixed with calamari and 300g of meat. For this they wanted 300€ without wine. We asked them to reconsider, bring more fish or reduce the price and they told us to leave not only the restaurant, but also the bay. Unpopulated island near Vis, but has restaurant and beach bar. Also there is a donkey. He is not dangerous for people, but keep your drinks in sight. Definetly worth stoping here and drink cocktail as they are really good. I gave one star less due to prices. Small beer 7 euros, cocktails 12. In restaurant there are two meals. Fish meal (60 euro) and meat meal (50 euro). And that is for one person. I know it is a remote place,...
