Beach Petrina — Local services in Općina Dobrinj

Beautiful place, but we decided to drive in at 5am to see the sunrise and well... We got stuck. Luckily it was a sunny day, but still I thought nothing could get us out of there except maybe a helicopter or a pair of horses. To add insult to injury, we had a rental vehicle and it was early on a Sunday.

In the end, we managed to get the car out without damage. A local brought his 1900's Russian war vehicle to pull us out.

Once you start the gravel decent, there is no turning around. Best to always get out and check what you're about to get yourself into....

My friends and I visited šilo at the end of the summer season last year(September 2017), and on one of our days there, I decided to take a walk to this beautiful beach. It was definately a great choice! The walk took me a little over an hour(medium pace), and when I finally reached the beach, I had it all to myself. I am certainly a nature lover and enjoyed every moment of it. It was very clean and very peaceful there. When there, I would recommend to climb the rock path that goes up the hill, and I promise you will love...

i love beautiful beaches that are private and quiet, this is one! water is crystal clear and the fact taht you have to walk about 20 minutes to get here makes it not busy at all! when we got here we were the only people on the beach for a good 2 hours. don't drive here, stop where the houses end otherwise you'll definitely get stuck on teh gravel road unless you drive like a defender or something...
