Plaža Limuni

Beautiful beache. But only for nature lovers. This is not a tourist place! There is no bar, toilets or other tourist must-haves. If you need any of those stay on the other side in Saplunara.

Also be warned it also swimming suite optional beach if you are sensitive to those kind of things.

The only thing i can hold against it, is the lack of parking spaces. You can also park in Saplunara and walk. From the end of the paved road its about 1 km, but it might be too hot if you are not early in the morning.

Also do clean after yourself. Do not spoil the nice nature...

The most famous sandy beach of Mljet island, where a Croatian version of reality show Surivor was filmed. The beach has no phone signal, the sea is warm even at the end of May. Great for kids, but also for adults since the sea gets deeper swimming a bit further. You might find trash on the beach, it is brought with sea currency, mostly from Albania and the locals and volunteers are cleaning it every year, but can't solve the problem. Get here by car, definitely a must see place...

The beach is so pretty, clear water you can see small fishes swimming. It is very sad to see so much garbage! Really the municipality or someone has to do something. I hope they clean it in the future. It is very quiet. I stayed for 2 hours and no one came. It was around 20 degrees so maybe to cold for other people.

There are no toilets, or bars. The way there by car is tricky because is small road and the parking...
