White powdery sand that stays always cool to the feet and clean, turquoise waters. Beaches are not overcrowded and you can enjoy your holidays in peace and tranquility. I preffered paradiso due to its remoteness. Sirena has better facilities. If you like to be nude on the beach, Paradiso is more naturist friendly. Cubans who work on the island are always friendly and helpful. I recommend taking the catamaran trip to get the most of your stay in Cayo Largo.

This is the place to be if you are in love with the life underwater and in general with the wildlife. There 2-3 resorts in the island and it is possible to book some tour with the boats around the island directly in the resort. The boat tours are absolutely a must otherwise you will enjoy just half of the place. Also do rent a quad scooter to get to the closest beaches

Excellent vacation. Service was good, food was plentiful but tended to be repetitive, bar was well stocked but popular beers did run out. Spirits were Cuban and make great cocktails. Pool was clean with plenty of lounge chairs. Beach was accessible via the resort five minutes away. Would recommend.

Cayo Largo, also known as Isla de la Juventud, is an island located in the Caribbean Sea, off the southern coast of Cuba. Here are some key points about Cayo Largo: The island is renowned for its stunning white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters, making it a popular destination for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports. The surrounding waters are rich in marine life, making it an excellent spot for snorkeling and diving. Visitors have the opportunity to explore vibrant coral reefs and encounter diverse underwater species. The island is also home to various species of wildlife, including sea turtles that nest on its beaches. There are conservation efforts in place to protect the natural environment. The island features natural reserves and parks where visitors can appreciate the unspoiled beauty of the landscape and encounter local flora and fauna. Cayo Largo is a tropical paradise for those seeking a tranquil escape with pristine beaches, water activities, and a...

We stayed at Sirena, February 2019. The beach was lovely, the food was fine, but they went around spraying for mosquitoes and the spray was awful. There are too many open water features near the outdoor bars and the food areas. Eating at the restaurant at night isn’t fun unless you’re dripping in deet. We love Cuba, but we won’t be visiting this resort again. You should be prepared as you might not have a beach. We were lucky and storms hadn’t washed the beach away. The pool was nice and there were always lots of chairs. The pool bar and restaurant were great and all the staff...
