There are too many open water features near the outdoor bars and the food areas. Eating at the restaurant at night isn’t fun unless you’re dripping in deet. We love Cuba, but we won’t be visiting this resort again. You should be prepared as you might not have a beach. We were lucky and storms hadn’t washed the beach away.
