Great fun. Good food. Charismatic guide. Lots of good surprises. The best way to get up close and personal with a stunningly beautiful place in the mountains.
In a nutshell, we were 2 families holidaying together in Cyprus and fancied exploration on quad bikes. We found safe trails around a beautiful part of the Trudoos mountains with a knowledgeable safety conscious charasmatic chap. The guide fully explains the do's and don't's of riding a quad and when he's finished anyone of driving age would be confident on the trails he leads you through. It's not extreme riding as he explains, it's view orientated, experience orientated, safety orientated. The Kids felt safe sat behind the driving adult and loved it equally as much as the adults. Picking almonds off trees, we cracked them with stones and ate them at the foot of a high up mountain fire lookout which we later climbed up to. Those that didn't want to climb stayed with the bikes. The 360 degree views of North and South Cyprus were amazing. After, we decended slightly along dirt tracks and stopped to eat figs off a tree in the grounds of a 12th century church. That's a 9000 year old building! It's an attraction that can be viewed internally and though it was closed when we got there the guide has internal photos if it's closed. About half way we stopped at a village café which was a traditional local style establishment with vines of grapes covering the area where we sat. It's a chance for everyone to chat about what they've seen and felt and as in everything on the trip, the guide charismatically guides you through the café choices of traditional or standard drinks and snacks.
To end the experience we left the bikes and headed for a tavern in Agros where amazing food was prepared. Greek feta salad, open fire cooked chicken, haloumi, zatziki, etc.... To quote an adult in our party "that was the best Greek food I've ever had". Two kids in our party don't eat anything but chicken nuggets and chips. I discussed this with the guide via email beforehand and they were provided whilst we ate proper food.
We paid the agreed price at the end and feel that the experience which I have only briefly described (i don't want to spoil all the surprises) was well worth the money.

If you’re looking for an epic way to explore Cyprus, the Argos Quad Bike Safari is an absolute must. This four-hour tour had everything—stunning views, a mix of relaxed and off-road riding, and an all-around amazing experience from start to finish.
Breathtaking Scenery & Local Gems
From the moment we set off, the views were next level. We rode through open landscapes, winding trails, and some proper rugged terrain, all with some incredible stops along the way. There were plenty of photo opportunities, and trust me, you’ll want to capture it all.
One of the best parts was stopping at local spots for a drink, where we got to take in the scenery, relax, and really soak up the experience. These little breaks made it feel more than just a quad biking tour—it was a proper adventure with a bit of everything.
The Quad Biking Itself
The riding was spot on. It was the perfect mix of leisurely cruising and full-on off-road excitement. Some parts of the trail were nice and easy, perfect for taking in the views, while others had us kicking up dust and bouncing over rougher terrain—the ideal balance for any level of rider. Whether you’re a total beginner or more experienced, it’s a proper thrill.
Our Guide – The Star of the Show
Honestly, what made this tour even better was our guide. He was super friendly, really knew his stuff, and made the whole experience feel effortless. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that energy made a huge difference. He kept the group engaged, made sure everyone felt comfortable, and even threw in some great local insights along the way.
Final Thoughts
The Argos Quad Bike Safari is hands down one of the best things to do in Cyprus. Whether you’re after stunning landscapes, an off-road adrenaline rush, or just a fun way to explore, this tour has it all. The mix of adventure, local culture, and top-tier guiding makes it an experience I’d...
