Cyprus Railways Museum — Local services in Evrychou

Smal train museum with a lot of interesting information from the history of the railways. The railway was in the plans from before 1900 but was first started some time after. We were meet by a very enthusiastic Cypriot with limited english knowledge, but he tried and was very velcoming towards us. The museum only have a small carriage, and could benefit from getting more physical objects to the museum like the first train that was restored in 73 and put on display...

A very well presented and maintained museum. The old station building has been lovingly restored and now houses a collection of memorabilia, artifacts and models. Great potential but a bit boring as it is. It Def needs addition of a locomotive and to make available wagon fully accessible instead of locked. It would be amazingly great if a little push cart could be used.
