Well, I love it except for 3 things: neighborhood, in particular the restaurant attached to a brewery, which I had mentioned already in a separate opinion; the other things is safety. I stayed on the 2 floor. The only way there is the elevator. No stairs (!) What if anything happens in the middle of the night? The reception is not open 24/7, so calling sb at night in case of fire is a waste of time, and you could be basically cut off the way to escape. The other thing is, if there's no air-conditioning (which is not a must, of course), the windows should be made in a way so one could have them opend. Mine were closing all the time within the slightest blow of the wind, as you open them to outside. I eventually had to dismentel them to have some fresh air. As there is a little place to prepare meals, there should be a fridge there, and glasses, plates, forks etc. Maybe they are just in the process of changes, so I do not judge.
Anyways, the hotel besides is fantastic! Good job! Just correct those little things, and it will be close...
Read moreCharming chateau - The hotel is a fascinating piece of history that has been lovingly restored, and the result is that it is beautiful inside and out. The room we had 307 was really big and spacious, yet the soundproofing was really good as there was no echoing, etc. The bathroom was nicely decorated and almost had a spa quality feel to it. The tour is really interesting and I would highly recommend it due to the history of this chateau and its surrounding areas. We didn't have time to play the Arcana Castle game, but we saw people doing it, and it looked so much fun that we are going to come back next year to try. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and tranquil, and we enjoyed sitting in them and watching the birds and butterflies. I believe this is a great area for cycling and hiking. However, I can not confirm as we only...
Read moreMe and my family, we have stayed for one night at this hotel. We have booked a family studio with two separate bedrooms. The room was spacious and clean. However it the room is not equiped much, there was only tv, I would have expect also a minibar or a small fridge, we were traveling with a baby and there was no place where I could keep the baby food. I also think that a kettle with some coffee and tea would be nice as this is standard of most hotels. Anyway the provided big and small towels and nice bathroom cosmetic. The breakfat was very basic, I was expecting better service and bigger selection of food. They served scrambled eggs and sausages (they did not taste good at all), some ham, salami and cheese. They also served yoghurt, but it was in a big bowl that everybody should share from. From the fruit, there was only a...
