As a wedding planner, I’ve had the pleasure of planning and coordinating several weddings at Bon Repos Chateau, and honestly, it’s one of my absolute favourite venues to work at. 💍✨ The chateau is located about 30–40 minutes from Prague, surrounded by peaceful nature and what is very special - we can plan outdoor parties until late night, which I love. (Usually in Czech you have to finish at 10pm but not here!)

It’s perfect for couples who want that destination wedding feel without being too far from the city. I often help my clients arrange transport back to Prague or organize accommodation nearby, which works perfectly for both local and international guests.

What I love most about Bon Repos is how flexible and creative the space is. You can truly design the entire wedding from scratch – from elegant black-tie dinners to relaxed garden celebrations. It’s a blank canvas where every detail can reflect your personality. Yes, it’s a logistically demanding location – everything has to be brought in (catering, furniture, decorations, full setup) – but that’s exactly what makes it so special. You have total freedom to create something unique and personal.

I also often plan pre-wedding dinner/cocktail (or after wedding brunch) for the closest family and friends, by the pool or in one of the lovely ballrooms and it's really magical.

And I have to mention the owners, who are genuinely wonderful people – kind, open-minded and always supportive. They trust us as planners to bring our ideas to life and allow incredible flexibility. I’m truly grateful for the relationship we’ve built over the years and how easy and warm the cooperation always is.
