The shelter spot is amazing. It has two firepits. 3 very clean and well maintained shelters. A lot of tables to sit and they are very far away from eachother so nobody is disturbing others and of course it is good for social distancing. It has a very big toilet, paper and running water. Electric plug in the WC. The lake side view is also amazing and so relaxing. The shelter has also many firewood to burn but the woods need to be cut and there is only saws to cut. Apart from that little detail, it is one of the best shelter spots I have been in Denmark.

It is such a lovely place to be in and after a long hiking trip a dip in the lake was a god send for anyone visiting denmark in the summer time for hiking purposes I'd highly recommend going here and don't book a shelter just bring a tent incase their all booked and...

Am Parkplatz angekommen gibt es einen schönen Platz mit 4 Shelter Hütten einem Feuerplatz, einem Platz mit etwas Holz und einer Axt um sich selbst etwas kleinzumachen, einer kleinen Hütte mit Wc, und überdachten Sitzgelegenheiten. Es gibt ein Outdoor Waschbecken um Lebensmittel und Kochutensilien zu reinigen. Wer mit dem Ebike kommt, hat die Möglichkeit sein Rad zu laden ohne ein eigenes Ladekabel mitzubringen! Um den See kann man wundervoll spazieren - Achtung! Hier läuft auch auf dem Weg die MTB Strecke entlang. Nach ca 10 Min. Fußweg haben wir haben oben der berühmten Trolle von Thomas Dambo gefunden.
