Kalkbrud med kæmpe pyramidebygning hvor behandlet kalk engang blev lagret (bruddet lukkede i 1970'erne). Vi kunne komme ind i pyramiden. Flot og specielt landskab at gå i. Også nogle få informationstavler. Parkering var let nok. Ikke et museum, bare et område.

Et Imponerende sted hvir jeg er kommet wn masse gange bpde for at lede efter fossiler eller dor at nyde den fantastiske natur og de gamle bygninger. Bliver spændende når dette bliver besøgsvenner for hele det store Unesco Stevns Klint projekt.

Kalkbrud med kæmpe pyramidebygning hvor behandlet kalk engang blev lagret (bruddet lukkede i 1970'erne). Vi kunne komme ind i pyramiden. Flot og specielt landskab at gå i. Også nogle få informationstavler. Parkering var let nok. Ikke et museum, bare et område.

The abandoned mine itself is not super spectacular, but the hiking path that leads to it offers a stunning view at the cliffs. Furthermore, once you get to this abendones mine (or a quary), you can easly get to the beach and see the breathtaking beauty of the white cliffs of Stevens Klint (UNESCO natural world...

I 1920’erne begyndte stevnsboer at bryde kalk i Boesdal Kalkbrud. Du kan i dag se rester fra dengang, man udvandt og forarbejdede kalk i Boesdal. I de to ovne ved kanten af kalkbruddet har man brændt kalk, og i bruddet ligger den 20 m høje og 60 m brede pyramide, hvor man opbevarede knust og tørret kalk.

I 1970’erne blev kalkbruddet nedlagt. I dag bruges Boesdal Kalkbrud til kulturelle aktiviteter, og du kan...
