Plantorama Amager — Local services in Tårnby Kommune

The shop has a great selection of plants, but the staff is unfortunately not the greatest at client service. Went there to buy a bigger plant with pot and other smaller stuff. When I got to the cash register to pay, the guy scanning the items broke almost half the edge of the plastic plant pot when taking it out from the ceramic pot to scan it. He was surprised when I said I don't feel great about getting the plant with the pot in that state since I'm gonna have it in my living room on display - he just went on explaining how i can just clip the rest of the edge with a scissors at home...the pot edge was literally shredder like a dog ate it or something. It was a 400kr plant, but I don't feel it was appropriate to buy it in that state after he broke the pot. I chose to leave all my shopping and went to Bauhaus where I did buy another big plant, a ceramic pot and other smaller plants. Will unfortunately not visit Plantorama again or recommend it to anyone. Here's a picture of my lovely plant...

The place is super nice, with free parking slots and a huge variety of plants, pots, soil types and accessories.

We found everything we were looking for, and more.

The staff is helpful and very polite.

It is slightly overpriced though when it comes to plants I would say. I have found the same plants cheaper in many central stores...

I was really convinced with the wide range of plants , decorative , along with beautiful crockery and other household basically kitchen usage items. Enough parking facility, well maintained customer rest room facility . little disappointed with no animal section in this branch....
