Good course, 3 holes outstanding but the rest is overrated for the value. If you’re hesitating between Corales, Teeth of the Dog or Punta Espada, go for Punta Espada or Teeth of the dog 1000 times !!!! Overall, Corales is a good course but doesn’t worth $400 per Green fee at all! Specifically this week, fairways & roughs were on work due to pga event’s coming in March. I understand à course needs to be prepared but It’s would have been fair to prevent us explaining the situation, the conditions of the course and we would have taken a different choice , instead of letting us pay the full price !!!!Tthey’re surfing on the PGATour event down for March 22, to justify their skyrocket pricing !
Very disappointed also by the head of operation/ Jay Overton, who literally refused any comment about his course and did not care at all our opinion with his arrogance and smugness.. it’s great shame for someone with apparently such a good career! When I explained him as customer I was a bit disappointed and surprised that nobody told us about the aeration, he looked at me with disdain and asked me « how old are you »?? , specifying he did not care at all about my opinion 🤦🏻
wrong behavior boss !

Read moreMy 2nd time playing here. Played it 3 yrs ago on our 1st trip to the DR. Beautiful course. At the end of the round, I was eating lunch, smoking a cigar, and enjoying the view. I overhead a lady talking on the phone expressing her groups opinion about the caddies. When she hung up, I engaged in a convo with her about it. The caddies at Corales seem to have a collective superiority attitude. From the moment you pull up, you can tell it's all about the money for them. Of course they're there to make money. But they'd make a lot more by making the experience better for their customer. I've played Teeth of the Dog, Punta Espada, and La Cana in DR besides Corales. Caddies were great at those 3. I'll avoid playing Corales again due to my 2 experiences and the random lady's as well. The proverbial 3 strikes. Everything else about the course is good. The caddy team needs a...
Read morePicture perfect course- well kept, ocean views and surrounded by some epic mansions! However you are paying for what you get...I was blown away with the cost of the green fee ($450), lucky my boyfriend has a PGA card... Otherwise this would have been over £500. On top of the green fee, you are expected to pay for a caddy at $40 PLUS tip them. We didnt realise this until afterwards (it wasnt explained at the time of booking) and have been trying to get in touch with the club in order to tip the caddy as we felt bad but seriously even so, it's ALOT, almost cost the same to fly back to England and play a round there, lucky for them it's currently snowing there. If this doesn't put you off, it's a great course to play and admire the scenery. Glad to say I've been but not sure i'd encourage the other half to rush back due to the...
