The Spa at Puntacana Resort — Local services in Higüey

Totally ruined my birthday, no sense of customer service. I wanted a great start of my day and they couldn’t accommodate something having me waiting for my friend to get her treatment and then later have her wait 2 hours after hers. It was so uncomfortable having man do all our treatments when they had other ladies there as we came early and saw there was other workers available and we were told we can use the facilities but didn’t tell us there would be a whole set up and work around the pool which also made the experience just terrible, to not led your guest know would also made a decision to book another day unfortunately this was not informed. We also had trouble getting out of the property as our Uber got canceled by security and not letting them in, we waited over 30 minutes and had to go back in and tell the front desk as she also knew we came from outside didn’t care to ask or help until I confronted her that it’s my legal right to be able to leave. This happened in sep 2018. I had just landed from Belgium, went straight to Six Senses from the airport. I would advice to get transportation arrangements prior to arrival, it is not nice to have to bargain for a taxi after such a long flight and no sleep, and on top of that crazy costly, it was like 70 usd for 5 km ( 3.11 mi). Now to the point, I have had several massage experiences and this one by far the best one. I even had to ask guest services what they did. I had never dealt with a tibetan bowl. Wow! Out of body experience. Amazing experience. At the time Brunilda was at guest services and Roxanna was the masseuse. I had the deep tissue massage for an hour. Excellent customer service. Thanks to my good friend at White Gloves Services that did the reservation for me. She was rewarded with an exquisite 500g Belgian chocolate box, hehe. Got a facial and a dep tissue massage. The woman working the front desk was very nice. Had a great conversation before and after my treatments. My threapist was great. She focuses on the areas that I told her and even suggested more stretching in the areas I needed. Steam room was private and great. The private pool and beach were amazing. Love this place....
