The location, only some twenty minutes or so north of Santo Domingo, but situated in beautiful wooded countryside with many lakes makes for a very pleasant, if occasionally challenging round of golf. The course itself is now in pretty good condition, a great deal of work has been done and continues by way of maintenance. Some of the fairways and the greens can still be a little on the uneven side. The fairways are for most part fairly wide, but there are a few where water and trees combine to produce less than forgiving tee shots. There are many lakes and you would do as well to bring a good supply of balls, unless you are a better than average golfer, you can count on losing a few. The club house is very comfortable with excellent locker rooms, an air conditioned lounge and a number of shaded terrace areas with splendid views provide ample space for a post round drink or a snack.
