I would like to thank Ahmed for this memorable trip. He is such a humble and friendly host. My wife is a fussy eater, but we both absolutely loved the food, and Ahmed is a very good cook. His land cruiser is great and the coolest one in the white desert. The way they set up the tents and all they done shows they are experts in what they do.
This tour was nothing short of spectacular! We did the private overnight trip 2D 1 Night and it was amazing. The price includes the pickup from Cairo and few stops until you get to the white desert.
Some places you may stop at:
The black desert.
Crystal Mountain. Make sure to go into the cave and right on top on this stop.
Some hot spring oasis. Agabaat. This place has amazing views.
If you thinking about booking this trip definitely book it, and book it with Ahmed he is the cheapest and the quality is great. It is a unique experience, Yes the drive from Cairo is long and it is a tiring experience, but well...

This was our campsite last night in the white desert portion of the Sahara, Egypt. These rock formations once lined the bottom of an ocean. Now, the rocky monoliths stand exposed to the wind whipped Sahara resembling white mushrooms. The pure white rocks make for a perfect foreground when shooting under a Bortle 1 night sky.
We ended our night here around a campfire while enjoying an authentic Bedouin feast cooked over the coals. We witnessed 100’s of meteors and fireballs from the Persieds meteor shower. Our mats laid on the sand with no roof over our heads except the stars themselves. We didn’t want to miss a single meteor. After fighting back the urge to sleep until the early hours of the morning we finally drifted off closing out one of the most incredible nights...
