There is not much to see there, and very little remains of the fort itself. In the same territory as the castle, there is also the Lihula manor, a singing stage and a discolf course. There are also some picnic spots in the manor park, so you can walk around there and have a good time. If you are on the drive-through, it takes about 20 minutes to walk. A museum is also open in the manor during the week, which you can visit.

This doesn't make for the most impressive ruins in Läänemaa, but the few excavated parts of the castle do give a good idea of the scope of the original structure. Well worth the quick stop that one can make here to walk around what remains!

1238 - 1242 wurde eine Steinburg errichtet. Lihula wurde zu einem der wichtigsten kirchlichen Zentren in Estland. 1298 wurde Lihula im Krieg vernichtet. Viel ist von der Burg nicht mehr zu sehen. Nur wenige Mauern. Denn im 17. Jahrhundert wurde mit der Abtragung der Burg begonnen . Die Ruinen sind gepflegt. Kostenfrei Parkplätze.
