MEAT Resto & Butchery — Local services in Tallinn

To start off, the organization of the staff was terrible: when we entered we were greeted and asked to put our jackets in the wardrobe. After that we waited and nobody didn't even notice us. we decided to go to the bar to tell again we had reservation we were shown to our table. Then three different waiters tried to take our order and one of the waitresse's was reeking of cigarette stench. Gonna skip the entree and go on. They delivered the steak. It was so rubbery that I wasn't able to chew through that. I was looking around and I saw other people not being able to chew through that steak either. I asked for medium rare, but that steak was raw. When the waitress came to collect the plates she asked about my steak and I told her the story. She took it and told me she's going to talk to the chef. She came back after few minutes to tell me that other people like the steak/food and the chef tasted it and told it is perfect. Wait did the chef try my steak?!?!? The dessert was fine but nothing special. At this current state I am not recommending this...

Location is way out of city centre, it's by a busy main road at a roundabout. So sitting outside is like sitting by all the traffic. King prawn Starter is the best grilled king prawns I've had everywhere, best try if going there. For main course we ordered beef steak each, tenderloin & sirloin. I asked my "rare", my partner asked his to be "medium", it turned up the other way round. Meat are decent but not outstanding, we both consider the steaks at Argentiina restaurant taste better, more flavours & cheaper. For puds we ordered ice cream with fresh berries, the ice cream doesn't taste like homemade, rather shop bought bog standard vanilla ice cream. All in all, for how much we paid for it doesn't live up to the expectations.

Extremely bad service. Covid rules not followed. When I politely asked about wearing masks in restaurant, I got very unpolite and arrogant answer from the waiter. And 5 minutes later suddenly the owner of the place sat aggressively to my table and asked in very offensive way if I have any problems with the restaurant. He was clearly angry and started to defend why the whole restaurant personnel do not need masks even thise whi have close contact with food. I understood from this speech that they do as little as they can to prevent covid and do not care about customers health at all.
