At Tiya, see about 40 huge blocks of stones decorated with carvings and were erected between 12th and 13th Century AD. It is believed that these obelisks or steles were erected in honor of local hero.
Entrance fee to visit this site is 130 Ethiopian Birr (about 4.5 US Dollars) per person for foreign visitors.
