Suðuroy — Local services in Fámjin

If you want to visit Sudoroy, chose a sunny day without too much wind and your will have a fantastic 5 hour roundtrip cruise along the eastern border of the Faraoe archipelago. You need to bring your car if you really want to explore this beautiful island. We drove down to the souteastern head, Akraberg, taking the narrow mountain road from Lopra to Sumba going and the Sumbatunnel comming back our last day on the Faroe Islands before shipping back to Hirtshals in the evening. This island is a little world on it's own. We stayed in Vagur on the camp ground 3 nights all on our own. Facilities spotless clean. Hopefully other guests enjoy it and keep it clean.
