Nice island but in order to get there, at least by car, you need to come a lot earlier for the ferry plus to return also a lot earlier so two thirds of the time you spend queuing. Also when you think you made it, locals come and they have priority lane for the ferry and you are left queuing for the next hour or two as ferries are coming rarely. I def would not repeat this. Not worth the time and wait.

The tunnels are very driveable if you're cautious. You can also follow behind someone if you're scared. Typically, just time your drives and avoid driving back when the ferry has just docked and cars are driving towards Trollanes. Most people go straight to the end for the lighthouse hike, but you can find a mermaid statue here as well as James Bond's grave.

It’s a trek, but well worth it. The hike can be a little uncomfortable and challenging for some people as there is no established trail.

As for getting here - I recommend walking on the ferry (don’t stress trying to get your car on). As soon as you walk off the ferry hop on the bus parked right on the dock, and it will take you straight to the hiking trail for a small price. The bus won’t leave until the ferry arrives - it’s there specifically for ferry riders. So, do not stress the times and maybe missing the bus. You...
