Visited in May 2025. There is a parking lot available on the left side of the road as you approach the start point. I was happy to see the paid turnstile was no more. There is a wood gate to walk through. The trail starts off paved, transitions to rock/dirt, before it becomes sand the rest of the way. It is a very pleasant hike. As of September 2025 no hiking fee. Look up tide charts before your hike, as there are some spots you cant cross with high tide.
I was at the beach in the morning and had the whole thing for myself. Stunning cliffs and a view out to the sea to remember. Takes with some photo stops about 1,5h to return to the parking.
