We chose Kota Husky due to their great reviews and we weren't disappointed. We arrived 40 minutes early and was hanging around in the car park when one of the guys told us it was no problem and to come in and meet the dogs. There were retired dogs in the yard area which our children loved as they could fuss them whilst my husband and I were shown what would happen during the ride. Once we were ready we were led down to our team of dogs and were delighted to find that it was just our family on the 5km trip. (we had 2 sleds as we are a family of 6 and the guide a sled in front) Our guide who was leading us with the first pack of huskies was very informative and was constantly looking behind him to check we were OK and knew straight away that some of the dogs on my sled wanted to run fast so he swapped them out so we were all travelling at around the same pace. The children loved the ride and for us 5km, which took around 25 mins was too short and we wished we had booked longer. Once we returned we had lots of time to pet the dogs before we were taken to a kota to warm up around the camp fire with a hot drink and delicious biscuit. Next we went into the kennel area to see the dogs and puppies. Our guide was very patient and answered all of our questions and at no point did we feel rushed. The owner was on site when we were looking at the dogs and chatted to us and asked us how our trip was made it more personal. We are so pleased that we didn't chose a big husky Park (this one only had 90 dogs) as we got so much more from our time and it was magical not to have a crowd of people and a private visit. The dogs were well cared for and it was lovely to see the retired dogs living out their days peacefully and interacting with our children. We would most definitely visit Kota Huskys again and for a longer...

We booked the 30km tour and it was an unforgettable experience we would recommend to anyone. From the beginning, youâre enchanted by the breathtaking beauty of the winter landscape. We were so lucky with the good weather. The huskies are not only incredibly sweet but also impressive in their strength and endurance, and they are the absolute focus here. Our experienced guide, Pasi, ensured a safe and pleasant tour from the start, always checking in to see if everything was okay.
Halfway through, we took a break, and Pasi prepared an incredibly delicious soup with vegetables, cheese, and fresh fish over a campfire. There was even a homemade dessert with coffee and hot Glögi. What more could you want?!
Everything was top-notch and well-organized. An absolute must for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Many thanks to the entire team at Kota for this unforgettable...
Read moreOverall, it was a okay experience. With 107 dogs a bigger husky farm.
The staff was friendly, the salmon soup for lunch was delicious.
However, we would not go again because we felt the group was too big with around 20+ people and many sleds and dogs. Spending time with the dogs after the ride felt rushed.
Sometimes it was rather a stressful experience when we had to stop multiple times and the dogs were very excited to keep moving, which is in their nature I suppose. However in a big group of dogs the energy spreads out and so it can happen that they start to fight with each other and bite each other which made me anxious. A lot of dogs had diarrhea, not sure why that is.. but the dogs look like they are taken good care of.
The wilderness was beautiful and...
