Köpcentret Saari — Local services in Helsinki sub-region

A small simple shopping center compared to modern hypermarkets or shopping centers but convenient and alot more relaxing than others in Helsinki generally. This feels really adorable cozy modern shopping center for inhabitants of Laajasalo.

Main mass attractions are two big supermarkets from questionable monopolies of S and K. There's also the liquid beverage monopoly Alko here. You can find here restaurants, cafes, library, pharmacy, florist, laundry service and other essential places. Basically you can "only" find here all the main things that a small community might need - don't expect to find nice little clothing boutique. But maybe in the future? Check their website for more specific listing - luckily it isn't an overwhelming website.

This place is easily accessible via automobile or public transportation because inpractice all the roads lead here. It's really well located at the center hub of Laajasalo "highway". Wheelchair accessible entrances and parking makes it really nice to visit for anyone. Ideal for people who live in this island. It's easy to visit even by walking.

I strongly recommend this establishment if you're the inhabitant of Laajasalo. It's not too bad for people from the mainland but not the most convenient if you're planning to wander deeper into the wilderness...

Kaksi ruokakauppaa josta toinen avasi Aasialaisen ravintolan vaikka yläkerassa oli jo yksi tavallaan vie toisen leipää kun kyseessä on todella pieni kauppakeskus.Käyn harvoin vaikka itse asumme myös täällä Saaressa.Suutari on todella hyvä ja edullinen saisko näin sanoo ettei korota hintoja :P S-Marketissa käyn silloin tällöin K-Super Market kallis ja varasti tavallaan toisen leivän avaamalla sen Aasialaisen paikan.Moni täällä Saaressa toivoi että olisi avannut vaikkapa kotiruoka ravintolan kun tarpeet olisi saannut omasta liikkeestä siksi poikotoin kyseistä paikkaa.Tähdet Suutarille...
