Unfortunately we had an unpleasant experience. For a family of 4 we paid 80€ for 15 minutes of meeting the reindeers. That was basically it. After that we went to a souvenir shop for another 15 minutes. While the shop was nice, I would not consider that a valuable part of the experience. The guide briefing us before we fed the reindeers was friendly though. After the “tour” I approached the owner since I was confused if that was the whole experience. He confirmed and said that the whole “tour” is supposed to take one hour. Again…it was 15 minutes of feeding/petting the animals and even if we would count the souvenir shop it was 30 minutes.
Edit: The owner contacted us and told us that there was some kind of misunderstanding and compensated for our not so good experience. I really appreciate that and upgrade to 3 stars. All the best for...
Read moreExcellent guide to history of reindeer farming. Nikko did a great job giving us the history of farming and let us feed the reindeer “chocolate” as in, their favorite snack moss. Over a hour of questions and answers about reindeer life. They do not do all the things for tourists like they do in winter but if you want to learn more and get up close, correctly, with reindeer it is a good spot. The shop had several made on site souvenirs. I collect buttons and they had sets of buttons made from antlers as well as many of the other items also made. There pelts were amazing. The coffee shop was cute but we had just had breakfast so did...

It was super cold -20 outside, so between reindeer safari and reindeer feeding we went into a hut to have some warming hot chocolate drink and listen to our guide’s stories about reindeers, what was really exciting and good to know. Afterwards we went out to feed reindeers, it was super cute, and you can take a lot of pictures with them and feed them until your nose is frozen 🥹❄️ Note: be careful with reindeers horns while feeding them and after this visit your clothes may smell...
