Catherine, owner and operator of Nomade Tourism, was wonderful all around - the person that she is, the service she provided, her planning and execution of our itinerary! She took care of our group of 7 family members from beginning to end!

When it was cloudy on the night that we were to go aurora hunting, she rearranged our itinerary, moving this excursion to the next day, so as to maximize our chances of seeing the aurora and gave us something else to do in exchange. She alerted us when the aurora was showing on other nights and directed us to locations where we could see it. Because of her effort, we saw the aurora twice during our 7-day stay in Finland.

Her love for Finland, especially the Lapland, shone bright as she led us herself on a snowshoeing hike in Kittila and prepared Finnish food for us in a kota right next to our cabin. She partners with guides and transport services who share her love for their work. Our excursions guides were all wonderful and knowledgeable people; our drivers were courteous and drove with care.

Catherine listened and addressed our wants, wishes, and needs from the time I first spoke with her during the planning stage and throughout our entire trip. It was always easy to contact and to communicate with her.

Our trip to Finland was beyond our expectations. We did this trip last Christmas - me and my partner - and was a whole new experience for us since we are coming from Greece. It was like a fairytale! All the activities were very well organized, and tailor made to our needs. Every day, Catherine from Nomade was in touch with us to make sure everything going well. Like we had a local friend there who wanted to show us the best of this lovely place. My family had an amazing adventure in Finland we will never forget.
