Katariinanlaakso Nature Conservation Area — Local services in Turku sub-region

Kaarinanlaakso is a bit of a short one to walk through, but quite beautiful, especially at the water side.

However there were a couple things I wasn't much of a fan off. One was the little dead end by a marsh of some sort with a rock side you can climb, though it won't bring you much because there's a private area of a villa starting there. You get here by going over a few narrow planks. Being a rather city-side nature preserve there's quire a few people walking these paths especially now in summer, so being able to return from this dead end is quite a hassle, since both in and out going traffic goes over the very same planks.

Another issue at least this summer was ticks. Our dogs got an insane amount of them just walking through, we were constantly tossing some away that hadn't quite attached to their skin yet. I'm glad non had attached to me or my partner, especially since I got a recipe for the tick related vaccine, but haven't had the chance to...

Amazingly beautiful forest facing the see. It is peice of paradise. There are wild squirrels and deers. The trees are stunning tall and green. It is very peaceful place. It is well served and the walking tracks are very clear and nicely placed...
