We drove here from Carentan and it took about an hour but it was well worth it. We were the only ones and had a great tour and visit with the owner. While tasting the Calvados and Pommeau was great, it was seeing their still and hearing about their family history and their passion for making their products that was the most memorable part of this visit. While a bit out of the way, it is well worth the visit and I would highly recommend. They have great products and there is no pressure to purchase. Dit is een authentieke lokale distilleerderij. Alles ademt hier traditie, 3 generaties ervaring en liefde voor het vak en hun producten. Er wordt Cider (brut), Pommeau en natuurlijk Calvados (van minmaal 2 jaar tot 50 jaar oud) geproduceerd. Bijna alles is te proeven. Er wordt ruim de tijd genomen om alles uit te leggen. Spreek je beperkt Frans? Geen probleem. Met de universele taal van klantgerichtheid zorgen de eigenaren ervoor dat alles goed komt en je met een goede ervaring weer weggaat. Naar analogie van de Michelin beoordeling: Dit is het omrijden waard.
