Incredibly beautiful and wild. I realy loved it, you have a beautiful look over the sea and on cap blanc nez. And you can still see where the bombs of the war hit the surface. Bei Audinghen an der Kanalküste nahe bei Calais gelegen ist das Cap Griz Nez eine Landspitze und ein sehr beliebter Touristenhotspot in dieser Ecke Frankreichs. Seinen Namen verdankt es den an dieser Stelle grauen Felsen. Es befindet sich hier ein Leuchtturm. Von hier aus ist die Küste Englands gerade mal 33 Kilometer Luftlinie entfernt. Die weißen Kreidefelsen Dovers sind von hier aus bei klarer Sicht gut zu sehen. Dies löste bei mir nach zu diesem Zeitpunkt sieben Jahren Großbritannien Absenz ein starke sFernweh aus. Doch es sollte noch fast sechs Jahre dauern, bis ich endlich wieder und dann zum siebten Mal englischen Boden betreten sollte. Ich habe das Cap zweimal besucht im August 2010 und im September 2011.
