Château Arton — Local services in Condom

We were lucky enough to have seen the tour on AirBnb. Lucky for a few reasons, that they were open in December and we were the only tourists/visitors there that morning. The gentleman (I'm bad with names anyway, especially after the fact) walking us through the tour was delightful, and answered all of our questions and took all the time needed to explain everything. It was really insightful, and was a great introduction into Armagnac and that process.

The tasting afterwards was wonderful. We took the time with the different wines, and one of the Armagnacs they offer. We enjoyed doing this at a smaller vineyard and I'm glad we waited until this trip to do a tasting.

I would definitely recommend visiting, and arranging for a tour or tasting...

Two weeks ago my family and I stayed at Chateau Naudou near Puymirol for the wedding of our daughter. During our stay we decided to take a day trip to Chateau Arton, and were treated to one of the absolute finest tours we have ever experienced. Lili greeted us and hosted a tasting of the incredible wines and spirits produced by her family. She oozes passion and knowledge about the chateau, the family, the grapes, the terroir, the wines and the special spirits. Her enthusiasm, her beauty and her charm won us all over and we all ended up purchasing several bottles of this liquid gold! Highly recommended! My family and I celebrated my dad's 70th Birthday at Château Arton with their private experience (private lunch, tour of the winery, and an armagnac tasting). The day felt so special and in such a beautiful setting! The food was delicious, we particularly loved the dessert (their special take on a baba au rhum). Lili's tour was wonderful, it was clear to see that she's really passionate about their life and work there, we loved hearing the history of the Château and of their family. The armagnac tasting was amazing, after hearing all about the winery we were desperate to try some and it did not disappoint!
