We enjoyed the most magnificent evening in the company of our charming hosts Nathalie and Jerome. We started with a tour of the farm enjoying the forest and fields of the area. We were then treated to to a wonderful tapas style pairing and wine tasting experience. There is something sublime about sitting under their oak trees next to the vineyards drinking their lovely wine and watching the sun set. Heaven. We came with our 2- & 4-year old kids for the hike&tapas event. It was really nice and we learnt a lot about wine making. Nathalie & Jérôme know what they are talking about and shared their vision and values in a very casual ambiance. They found some toys for our kids to play during the tasting, which was very much appreciated. Food was tasteful and we had a lot (mention if you are vegetarian though). Visited this independent vineyard, run by the visionaries Wife and Husband, plus two dogs. We enjoyed a talk by Nathalie, plus the odd woof! by Thor. Boutinet is an organic vineyard that produces this delicious and unique Claret. A not red and not rose wine, served chilled. A real flavour bomb. We walked passed the vineyard to a Yurt for our tasting. It was so good we bought some Claret, even though we'd visited other vineyards and not bought at any of them.
