Cathy and Nigel are something very special. They are the nicest people you can find to spend a day with. They are, however, also the most clued-up people to take you through a wine experience. Nigel (a former farmer) knows his terroirs like no one else. Cathy is the wine equivalent to Bruce Lee: She holds the highest honours in her trade. I have never met anyone who is more knowledgeable about all the moves! Wonderful. We did the 1/2 day "wine education / dinner." Cathy and Nigel were wonderful hosts. Everyone in our group enjoyed learning about the wines of the Loire Valley. The discussion led by Cathy was interesting and insightful, without being too academic. (Over wine, how could the discussion be anything less than interesting.) What an incredible experience!

My mom and I were visiting Loire Valley and really wanted to learn more about not only the wine industry in France, but about the wines we were enjoying in each region. Cathy and Nigel were absolutely wonderful hosts and had a wealth of information (not to mention delish wine tastings to boot!). The lunch was delicious and very accommodating to my dietary restrictions.
