Great 360° view. I started the hike from the coast at Grotte Rolland from the 19 bus stop and walked inland from the nearest traffic lights and followed the yellow route to the top. There are a couple of near vertical sections higher up requiring good grip on your shoes and using handholds. It was hot and sweaty work but the view at the top was worth it. The higher you get the more the wind blows which frankly was a relief. I contemplated dropping down the other side into the Marseilleveyre / Callelongue calanques but was short on time or a known route. I would not recommend the climb for young children. Couple of times on the descent I lost my footing so take care. From the bottom of the hill ... where there is a helpful poissonierie that does nice oysters...you can just make out the cross which puts your efforts into perspective.
