Il Fort Pépin è un'antica fortificazione di fine XIX secolo, costruita dai Savoia. Un tempo appartenente al Regno d'Italia, è stata ceduta alla Francia (comune di Tenda) nel 1947 - assieme alle altre fortificazioni nei pressi del colle di Tenda - a seguito dei trattati di pace dopo la Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Si trova ad un'altezza poco sotto i 2300 metri sul mare, nell'alta Val Roya, poco lontano dal Col di Tenda e dal confine Italiano. È possibile raggiungerlo a piedi partendo proprio dalla cima del Colle.

Für MTB geeignet. Das Fort liegt jedoch etwas abseits der Pisten. Gute Kondition oder 2 Akkus sind empfehlenswert wenn man von Tende aus hochfährt.

Für MTB geeignet. Das Fort liegt jedoch etwas abseits der Pisten. Gute Kondition oder 2 Akkus sind empfehlenswert wenn man von Tende aus hochfährt.

Il forte purtroppo è in condizioni disastrose. Come del resto tutte le fortificazioni militari della zona. L'escursione comunque è molto bella e permette di godere di panorami straordinari, è però consigliabile in autunno perché interamente sotto il sole. ⚠️ Attenzione ad alcuni tratti del sentiero che risultano...
