This museum in Mazeres is a little gem. It has a wonderful interactive exhibit in both English and French on the 3rd and 2nd floors covering a Mérovingien discovery that was made nearby. (You start on the 3rd floor and move to the 2nd). The first floor has exhibits showing local history and a nice film in English or French on the Pastel industry critical to this area's success in the 16th and 17th centuries. The cellar of this former stately home has just been renovated to accommodate recently donated artifacts.
