Domaine de la Roussille — Local services in Poitiers

Stayed in Monday 22nd June 2022. What wonderful hosts Anne and Laurent are. Anne spoke very good English, but was very encouraging and patient with my attempts at speaking French! Large pitch next to the vines. Friendly wine tasting of their excellent wine, with locals popping in to get their regular supplies ( a good endorsement). A lovely family business which has left us with some great memories and a good supply of white, rose and traditional wine to enjoy during the rest of our trip (if it lasts!). En route to Spain and needed a stopover. Chanced upon this site. Wonderful hosts, good gravelled pitch, electric hookup and some amazing local produce. The rain is persistent but the 2022 bottle of their Cabernet Franc is making that unimportant. Other interesting grape varieties also available and free camping if you buy some. Would love to...

Après un an à prendre le méthode traditionnelle sur un point de vente à champdeniers, la boutik. Je passais 1x fois par mois devant le domaine sans m'arrêter a Neuville du Poitou. Passé avec ma compagne hors horaire d'ouverture, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis. Des propriétaires très aimables et chaleureux qui aiment leur métier. Un bon moment de partage même si ma campagne et moi ne sommes pas connaisseurs. 2x que j'y suis repassé faire le plein et je vais pas m'arrêter là. Les bouteilles de méthode traditionnelle me quittent jamais quand on part à l'aventure :)
