Lieu autrefois sympa pour un arrêt et un point de vue sur la vallée du Claux. Aujourd'hui le chalet est fermé (après tant de travaux, c'est un furoncle sur le parking!!) Idéal pour un départ de balade sur les crêtes. En espérant que l'on y retrouvera un vrai bar/restaurant accueillant et que de nouveau il y ait de l'activité. Enfin certains aménagements sont ridicules Terrasse en bois que personne ne voit, rondin face à des arbres non élagués obstruant la vue, énormes cailloux bloquant le stationnement...déçu de ces...

Magnifique site naturel entre la route du Puy Mary, à partir de Dienne, et la vallée glacière de Cheylade, dont nous savourons les charmes depuis plus de 25 ans. Pour comble de malheur, la beauté sublime des lieux a été entachée par l'érection, il y a quelques années, d'un bunker à touristes, méchamment intitulé "station nature", qui apparaît selon nous comme l'exemple même du vandalisme utilitaire et du délit environnemental.
