The new outlet in Tbilisi was a complete disappointment. It’s located 15 minutes from Lilo market in an industrial area with no public transport, making it almost inaccessible. The parking lot is covered with tiny stones, the area is dusty, and the buildings look cheap and poorly finished. On opening day, 85% of stores were closed, and the few open ones — Polini, Lutetia Parfumeria, Adidas, Nike, and a couple more — had almost no merchandise, with paint on the floors and some shoes showing visible glue, looking like replicas. The perfume store lacked major brands like Dior or Lancome, and some QR codes didn’t confirm authenticity. Staff were unhelpful and seemed completely lost. The waiters were collecting tables and clearing dishes, people were finishing their drinks, and there was a traffic at the exit. Most importantly, there were only a few boutiques and one cafe open. DKNY had prices in dollars or no prices at all. There was no program for customers, just an alley with five open stores that were already in the city. It had nothing to do...
