Tetnuldi — Local services in Samegrelo-Upper Svaneti

Tetnuldi (Georgian: თეთნულდი) is a prominent peak in the central part of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range, located in the Svaneti region of Georgia. According to most sources, Tetnuldi is the 10th highest peak of the Caucasus. The slopes of the mountain are glaciated generally above the 3,000 metre (9,840 ft) line. The most prominent glacier of the mountain is called Adishi. It was first climbed by Douglas Freshfield in 1896. The first ascent of the north face was completed by Michael S. Taylor and John R. Jenkins. New ski resort in Tetnuldi was opened during 2015-2016...

Tetnuldi mountain offered us quite a challenge. Our Elamus Pluss group was able to get to 4444m. Last ridge that goes to the top required mixed climbing (snow, ice, rocks) and took our pace down.

The mountain is not very popular, we were the only group on the mountain in the end...

Это вершина, поднявшись куда, я полюбила Грузию навсегда! 🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪❤ Канатная дорогая на горную вершину Тетнульди расположена в 24 км. от Местии, центра региона Сванетия. Сюда без проблем можно добраться на джипах, временами наблюдается гололед. Проезд стоит 20 GEL. Места здесь особенно красивые. Это для меня одно из самых атмосферных мест в любимой стране. На Тетнульди можно подняться на канатной дороге с двумя пересадками. Билет до самой вершины стоит 20 GEL. Здесь расположена лыжная трасса, можно спускаться вниз на лыжах ⛷💨💨💨 или на сноуборде 🏂🏂🏂💨💨💨. Предлагаются услуги инструктора. Работает прокат лыж и сноубордов. Есть маленькие кафешечки. Наверху можно сделать красивые фото. Открывается красивая панорама горных хребтов. Тетнульди - это место, куда я хочу возвращаться вновь и вновь....
