Lohnenswertes Ausflugsziel für Spaziergänge und Wanderungen. Der Gelbe Berg (628 m) liegt am Rande des Hahnenkamms (20 km langer Ausläufer der Fränkischen Alb) und auf dem Altmühltal-Panoramaweg (von Gunzenhausen nach Kelheim), im Rother Wanderführer auf Etappe 2 von Spielberg nach Auernheim. Er bietet eine phantastische Fernsicht und Blick auf den Altmühlsee.
