Our first hike in Germany . Pretty cool fortress. No view at the fortress because of trees. But a nice view at the ski slope. Would say its easy(for me) if we didn't get lost . Just zoom into Google maps and you can see the trail leading up.(we didn't zoom in enough to know this ). We started over there. But now i see that there was a parking lot on the right side and a different route we could of gone to. I think we went up and came down the shortest way. A 1year old in the carrier with dad, and 4year old ( was a bit tired but a good exercise)walking up and down. It is March .Wet leaves make it a bit slippery so be careful.

A great place for a good hike. The trails are easy to follow and are marked on the trees. The ruins of the castle is a great place to explore. There are many trails that will lead you to the top, you can follow the different routes on Google maps. There is some construction to restore parts of the area, but overall it's a nice quiet nature hike that can be done by all skill levels!

Leider ist die Burg völlig verfallen und in einem erbärmlichen Zustand, es gibt zwar arbeiten an die diese doch werden die nicht wirklich fachgerecht ausgeführt. Um die Burg zu erreichen, sieht man auf Google Maps einen Lift dieser ist allerdings seit Jahrzehnten außer Betrieb. Gleiches könnte man über die Straßen zur Burg sagen, diese sehen auch eher danach aus als hätte man sie seit Jahrzehnten außer Betrieb genommen. Viele Wanderwege zur Burg existieren nicht mehr. Der von mir gewählte Weg wurde von einem eingezäunten Gebiet der Telekom geschnitten wodurch ich quer durch den Wald laufen musste. Daher ist diese Burg nur für querfeldeinwanderer etwas.
