Der Ernstberg ist mit 698,8m ü.NN der zweithöchste Berg in der Eifel. Schweißschlacken bilden seinen Gipfel. Im Osten befindet sich ein offener Kraterwall dort bildetn die ausgeflossenen Basaltmassen auch einen Halbkreis. Etwas weiter unterhalb des Gipfels gibt es eine 200m lange Höhle und Lavablöcke. Vom Mittelalter bis etwa 1930 wurden am Fuß des Ernstbergs...

Im Osten befindet sich ein offener Kraterwall dort bildetn die ausgeflossenen Basaltmassen auch einen Halbkreis. Etwas weiter unterhalb des Gipfels gibt es eine 200m lange Höhle und Lavablöcke. Vom Mittelalter bis etwa 1930 wurden am Fuß des Ernstbergs Mühlsteine gebrochen.

Sehr schöner Fleck in der Eifel. Auf einen leichten Weg geht es hinauf zu den Lavasteinen. Sehr interressante Umgebung mit den Höhlen im Lavagestein. Man könnte meinen dies ist der Eingang zum Mittelpunkt der Erde. Leider bin ich in der Geschichte des Ernstberg nicht so gut belesen um nähere Informationen zu geben.

Sehr schöner Fleck in der Eifel. Auf einen leichten Weg geht es hinauf zu den Lavasteinen. Sehr interressante Umgebung mit den Höhlen im Lavagestein. Man könnte meinen dies ist der Eingang zum Mittelpunkt der Erde. Leider bin ich in der Geschichte des Ernstberg nicht so gut belesen um nähere Informationen zu geben.
