The church is beautiful and the monastery has some interesting history tidbits. The nun's left the place as-is - a snapshot in time! The restaurant's food is incredibly tasty - Honestly, the best pork roast ("Schweinebraten") I have ever eaten! House-made drinks are expensive but worth a try. Die Geschichte des Klosters Beuerberg geht bis auf das Jahr 1120 zurück. Lange Zeit wirkten und lebten dort Augustiner Chorherren, bis das Kloster im Zuge der Säkularisation 1803 aufgelöst wurde. Nach der Auflösung ging das Kloster in Privatbesitz über, bevor es im Jahr 1835 von Salesianerinnen übernommen wurde. 2013 starb die letzte Oberin, woraufhin 2014 die Erzdiözese München und Freising übernahm und begann das Gebäude unter anderem für Bildungszwecke zu nutzen. Seit 2016 finden regelmäßig Ausstellungen des Diözesanmuseums Freising im Kloster statt. Neben der Kirche lohnen auch der bestens gepflegte Garten und die Gastronomie einen ausgiebigen Besuch.
