If you enjoy these, then look no farther than Hirschenstein in Schneeberg. The area offers the best spots for hikers on foot and cyclists alike, to enjoy the fresh air while taking a break from their daily routines. It also offers the best opportunity for mushroom collectors to scourge the forest floor for exotic wild mushrooms. The mushroom season in the woodlands surrounding Hirschenstein, begins in September and extends till mid-October. Although it requires a great deal of expertise, hunting for the best mushrooms can be a fun-filled experience.

At the zenith, one can also find a resting spot which conceals a guest book that contains excerpts from random visitors who took the time to write down their thoughts on reaching the viewpoint.

For all it takes, I can highly recommend a hike in the area of Hirschenstein to anybody who plans to visit the state of Saxony. It's a truly...

Netter kleiner HĂŒgel mitten im Wald. Schöner Platz zum Rasten nachdem man etliche Kilometer durch den Wald geirrt ist.

Die Bezeichnung Aussichtspunkt ist sicher etwas ĂŒbertrieben, da ringsum BĂ€ume stehen und man in alle Richtungen nicht wirklich weit schauen kann.

Highlight ist ein etwa ein Meter hoher steinerner Quader von 1864 mit...
