Small castle, impressively built upon a really steep rocks. Incredible views from the castle ramparts and the watch tower. The castle's minder was extremely friendly and informative. Would certainly recomend a visit if you have some...

The road there is not easy. A bit of climbing but the view is beautiful. Ticket is 2.5 Euro but we arrived after closing time so we were not able to visit. If the burg has a parking spot for visitors i did...

Wer den steilen Burgberg erklimmt, wird mit einem wunderbaren Ausblick belohnt. Bemerkenswert wie der Verschönerungsverein Hohenstein sich um den Erhalt der Burganlage kümmert. Es ist keine besonders große Anlage, aber alles Wissenswerte ist im Turmhaus mit Bildschirm und an den Außentüren angeschrieben. Für Menschen mit Handicap ist die Burganlage aus Sicherheitsgründen leider nicht zu empfehlen. Es befinden sich viele Treppe, die zum Teil sehr ausgetreten sind als Barriere, das unwegsame Gelände im Innenhof kommt noch dazu.
