Golfclub München Eichenried — Local services in Moosinning

I will write this review as part of my golfing trip to meet Leading Courses ambassadors in Munich area. I was blessed to be invited to play 5 courses and 1st of them was Eichenried Golf course. I had my expectations very high since its course where is European tour played. Navigation and reaching course is very easy, its close to highway and airport. I arrived on morning week day so parking lot was empty and I park just next to pro-shop. There is enough place to park so no worries. We checked in, which was quite fast and convenient. Than to get morning coffee and to the range. Have to say that range is quite big and offer high end technology like TRACKMAN. No worries about distances its jut around the corner of clubhouse and close to 1st tee of A course. We played A+B combination. Now, I would like to say how I was excited about the course, but I was not. Quality and maintenance was not above the average, yes greens were fast, but that was it. There were many pitch marks which were not fixed. A course if course without any soul, no interesting holes at all. Highlight of the day that we were accompanied with very pleasant member who were our great host. Its not difficult to oriented cause each tee box has a big number and, routing arrows are always behind the green. B course was more challenging especially and I remember nice par 3 and last hole. I had to adjust also to marking a distance cause compare to my home here the colors are used a bit differently. From perspective of not long hitter I can say that there is many long par 3 in average over 160 meters, so whoever is not long hitter play from blues. Refreshment after the game in restaurant was good with tasty Italian food. What I really like was nice big and clean locker room at the end. Overall price performance ratio is a bit high, because of European tour, however from my point there are other courses in area which are better and worth visit. So thanks for hospitality and most probably only one...

I scheduled an appointment with Florian Reiger, whom I met while he was working at the Schwanhof Golf Course north of Munich. He met me at the door and helped my lost soul find touch for another set of clubs.

I am always a skeptic when listening to a seasoned golf professional as well as someone asking you to try their "clubs". I spent over an hour finding what was right for me after using the same clubs I was fitted for back in 2008.

I would no doubt send anyone looking for a relaxed fitting experience at the centre. I look forward to receiving the clubs and playing full time with them.

Neue Bewertung: 05/24 Das Restaurant hat sich sehr verändert, meine in der vorherigen Rezension angegebenen Kritikpunkte sind nicht mehr zutreffend. Im Restaurant sieht das Interieur jetzt viel frischer und einladender aus. Der Terrassen Bereich ist ebenfalls ansprechend und gemütlich gestaltet worden. Die Service Mitarbeiter sind als solche erkennbar und freundlich. Das Essen hat ebenfalls geschmeckt. Wir bleiben dran.. ——————————————————————-

Restaurant im Golfclub Eichenried NEUES Restaurant VILLA DORIA

Ganz ganz große Enttäuschung! Leider absolut kein Vergleich zum vorherigen Pächter. Gruselige Einrichtung. Dunkelbraune Damast Tischdecken und dazu dunkelbraune Servietten zu dunklem Teppich….Alles wirkt düster und unglaublich altmodisch. Nichts modernes, einladendes oder frisches. Das Essen besteht ausschließlich aus der italienische Küche. Das gesamte Ambiente erinnert an eine altmodische Kantine und nicht an ein modernes Restaurant in einem wunderschönen Golfclub. Die Italienischen Kellnerinnen tragen sehr legere Strickjacken Outfits kombiniert mit klobigen Turnschuhen….Aus diesem Restaurant und den Räumlichkeiten könnte man so viel machen. Der vorherige Pächter beeindruckte durch seine super nette herzliche Art und Weise im Umgang mit den Gästen. Die Einrichtung war elegant, edel und wirkte sehr einladend und passend für einen Golfclub. Die Kellner waren äußerlich auch als Servicekräfte erkennbar. In schwarz und weiß, stets sehr ordentlich und sehr sauber gekleidet. Das Verhalten zum Gast war immer freundlich und vorbildlich. Wir sind vor dem Pächter Wechsel regelmäßig zum Essen in dieses Club Restaurant eingekehrt. Jetzt sind wir natürlich traurig darüber, wie es derzeit geführt wird und wie stark es sich gewandelt hat. Vielleicht wird es sich ja noch verändern irgendwann, dann kommen wir gerne wieder. Ich wünsche der neuen Pachtfamilie trotzdem alles Gute und viel Erfolg. Geschmäcker sind eben verschieden…und das...
