Wikingerburg, sie ist etwa 1.5 km westlich von der Schankweiler Klause gelegen. Hohe Mauern und dicke Türme haben wir nicht erwartet, aber es sollte schon nach einer Burg aussehen. Tatsächlich ist die Wikingerburg die größte keltische Wallanlage auf dem Ferschweiler-Bollendorfer Plateau. Der 20 km lange Wanderweg ist zum Teil anspruchsvoll. Es gibt, nicht nur für Fotofans, viel zu entdecken. Von Bollendorf führt der Weg an Schloss Weilerbach vorbei über Ferschweiler, Schankweiler Klause zur Wikingerburg, Fraubillenkreuz, Druidenstein, Wolfsschluff und die Römische Villa zurück nach Bollendorf.

Sehr gute Goldauflage auf dem Altar. Leider alles vergitttert, weil hier offensichtlich mit hoher krimineller Energie der Besucher gerechnet wird. Beten nur eingeschränkt möglich, da der Besucherbereich nur 2 Quadratmeter groß ist, die profanbigotte Ausstellungsfläche von Kirchenschätzen dagegen...
